Our Story

At Patterson Family Market, our story begins long before our market doors first opened. We are proud to be a fifth-generation farming family with deep roots in agriculture and a lasting commitment to the land. For generations, our family has been dedicated to row crop farming, carrying forward traditions built on hard work, stewardship, and faith in the seasons.

In addition to row crops, we have grown greenhouse tomatoes for the past 28 years, continually striving to provide high-quality produce to our community. Farming has always been more than an occupation for us, it is our heritage and our way of life.

As our community has grown and changed over time, we felt called to grow alongside it. We saw an opportunity to expand beyond traditional farming and create a place where people could connect with fresh, local products. With this vision in mind, we purchased a former farm supply store and transformed it into a local market, allowing us to continue serving our community in a new and meaningful way.

On April 1, 2025, we proudly opened the doors to our market. Today, we offer fresh produce, quality meats, dairy products, and other locally sourced goods when we are not growing them ourselves. In addition, we serve hand-dipped ice cream, refreshing slushies, and fresh donuts—making our market a place where families can gather and create memories.

As a family-owned and operated business, we remain committed to the same values that have guided us for five generations: integrity, quality, and community. Our faith has always been an important part of our journey, and we are grateful for God’s guidance through every season—both in the fields and in life.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”  Galatians 6:9

We are thankful for the opportunity to continue farming in a new way and to serve our community with fresh products and friendly service each day.
